My name is Lesia and I am a nutritionist and certified Callanetics instructor with an extra interest in psychology, cognitive therapy, LoA (Law of Attraction) and mindfulness.

 

So you can say that I am that kind of nutritionist and instructor, who believes that we create our own reality. I believe that we can be, do or have anything we desire - be slim, eat well, stay youthful and flexible as long as we want to. This platform is dedicated to the subject of maintaining healthy body and mind.

My interest in nutrition started already as a child. Unwillingly I got to hear everywhere around me how a girl should not eat this or that, should stay slim. This massive obsession of females getting and staying slim by any means was promoted by mass media and commonly supported by society. And even if I agree that a normal body weight is essential to the long and joyful life, I do not agree that any means are alright. In fact, there are many means that are actively promoted out there to get slim, that lead to detrimental effects on the body. 

 

Also, I noticed that some of my female classmates, that were quite slim, could eat a lot of sweets and stay slim, while other struggled to keep their weight the same. And hearing this advice from adults: "If you want to lose weight, stop eating" did not match to what I observed around. I had an idea that there is more to it than just to eat less. So all in all my curiosity brought we where I am today. 

 

 

* I have studied nutrition at one of the leading Swedish nutrition centers Paulúns Näringscenter. I chose this school because they do not promote any particular diet but a healthy balanced life style. I felt like this school is a perfect match to my ideas and principles which are based on NO diet approach. I sincerely believe that diets are often extreme to one's health and bring short lasting results.

 

None of my clients are getting a diet plan per se, instead I always recommend to enhance your daily meals with rich in nutrition foods and offer a meal plan as an example. My main goal is to teach you to pick among all the foods in the store the ones that will deliver all the important nutrients.

 

 

** I am a certified Callanetics instructor and very passionate about this workout method since it helped me to recover my injured knee. My approach to teaching you Callanetics is to make short and effective workout time since we all have busy lives. The combination of exercises that I choose for my clients, are always specifically based on their paticular needs and for tightening and strengthening specific areas. I am especially careful with injuries since I suffered from one myself for a long time before being introduced to Callanetics. 

 

 

*** Another passion of mine is a happy and harmonious life. Throughout my interaction with clients, I found that the way we think about ourselves and life in general has an impact on what we achieve in life and even on how we look and feel. That is why I incorporate principles of changing the mental attitude in my program. And, in fact, that is why I started this site - I want to share my knowledge with you. I want to bring some ease into your life. I want this site to be a source of inspiration toward the healthy and balanced lifestyle.
